- Download The MCSnet My Account App: If you don’t already have it, download the app from your device’s app store (e.g., Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android).
- Log In To The App: Use your MCSnet email and password to log in. This should be the same login information you use for the “My Account” section of the MCSnet website. If you’ve forgotten your login, you may need to contact MCSnet support.
- Navigate To Wi-Fi settings: Once logged in, you should see a “Wi-Fi” option in the left navigation bar or main menu of the app. Tap on it.
- Edit Your Wi-Fi Password: A new page will load with a summary of your Wi-Fi settings. Look for an “Edit” option or button and tap it.
- Enter Your New Password: You will be able to edit your Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and your Wi-Fi Password. Enter your desired new password in the appropriate field.
- Save Your Changes: After entering your new password, click “Save” to apply the changes. Your Wi-Fi network will likely restart briefly, and you’ll then need to reconnect all your devices using the new password.
Important Notes:
Non-MCSnet Routers: If you have a router from a different brand, the MCSnet My Account app may not be able to change your Wi-Fi password. In this case, you’ll need to log directly into your router’s interface using its IP address (often found on a sticker on the router itself) and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to change the password.
