MCSnet Scholarship

Eligible recipients must:

Be a graduating grade 12 student
Reside in the MCSnet service area
Be pursuing post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field

The MCSnet Scholarship Engagement Committee chooses recipients based on the following criteria:

Academic Marks: Weighted 60%
Community Involvement: Weighted 40%
Tie-Breaking Criteria: Work experience or involvement in an initiative (may be technology-related) that has brought a positive impact to the community

Submission Requirements

Official high school transcript of final marks
Reference letter from principal or guidance/career counsellor
Official confirmation of acceptance in a post-secondary institution
A short, typed essay (800-1,000 words) outlining your post-secondary education goals and your career intentions. Additionally, include personal background, work experience, volunteer activities, and any other relevant accomplishments/activities.
